  1. how should you clean your vagaina?
    what should i do?
what type of products would work best to prevent end of the day odors and sweats?

    • The vagina “cleans” itself naturally. There are douche products on the market but they really aren’y necessary as they upset the natural pH and balance of the vagina more than anything. Shower daily using good old antibacterial soap and water, wear cotton panties, keep the hair trim “down there” as longer hair can harbor bacteria, and therefore odor, use the really thin panty liners diring the “wet days” of your monthly cycle (usually the week before your period), and if you know you will be sweating, like during exercise, apply a light film of deoderant to the groin area but not on the sensitive tissue part. I’m an OB nurse, so I’ve gotten this question before!

  2. why does my vagina (clit) itch? im pretty sure i dont have thrush HELP?
for the last 2 days my vagaina has been itching. i have no werid odour down there or any unusual discharge its clear and not thick or anything. and my clit seems to be abit swollen. any ideas what this is please!???? oh and if its makes a difference i think it started to itch after i had sex like 3 days ago… but i wasnt a virgin so…. and i dont think its a water infection cos ive had one before and its deffo not the same. please help me!!!

  3. Female Vagina question…kind of embarrassing!!?
i have noticed lately that i have foul odor coming from my vagaina. I can’t figure out what it is, i take a shower daily and when i use the restroom i even wipe with those fresh smelling feminine wipes. I have even had my BF comment on it…can someone help me?? not sure what it could be!!
I do douche, and that still doesn’t help. I have no itching symptoms!!
my age is 25 years old, i have three kids, and have been with my fiance for the past 7 1/2 years!! If that helps!

    • Douching and those wipes both cause infections. How do women NOT know this stuff?

      QUOTE:
Health problems linked to douching include:

      vaginal irritation,
vaginal infections called bacterial vaginosis or BV,
      sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), and
      pelvic inflammatory disease (PID)
Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) is an infection of a woman’s uterus, fallopian tubes and/or ovaries. It is caused by bacteria that travel from a woman’s vagina and cervix up into her reproductive organs. If left untreated, PID can cause fertility problems (difficulties getting pregnant). PID also boosts a woman’s chances of ectopic pregnancy (pregnancy in the fallopian tube instead of the uterus). Some STDs, BV, and PID can all lead to serious problems during pregnancy. These include infection in the baby, problems with labor, and early delivery. Doctors and the ACOG suggest women avoid douching completely. Most experts believe that douching increases a woman’s chances of infection. Doctors suggest women avoid scented tampons, pad, powders and sprays. These products may increase a woman’s chances of getting vaginal infections.
